August, 20th, 2012 A big sunflower

This is Gokaichi. My family did not travel this summer because a new baby boy was born. We decided to just relax at my home, taking walks around my neighborhood.

At a park I stopped by to play with my elder child after buying some groceries, I found a big sunflower shooting up to the sky. The bright yellow petals were standing out in the blue sky. This is typical summer scenery that I love the most.

Since I've started working in Tokyo, I rarely had a chance to see a big sunflower. It was a happy surprise encounter. See you!
