Congratulations to the three winners! Seeing these great works, I'm highly motivated again to take the photos that capture the special moments of my life. See you!

November 26th, 2012 Japanese tradition in November

Have you ever heard of “Shichi-go-san”? It means “seven, five, and three” in Japanese. It’s a traditional festival in Japan for children who will be turning either one of those three ages. It’s held on November 15th or on weekends in middle of November to celebrate the health and growth of children.

On the day of Shichi-go-san, children dress up in kimono (Japanese traditional dress) and go to shrines with their parents and/or grandparents.

Maya, the child actress starring in our promo video, had also enjoyed this traditional event last year.

Isn’t a moment like this, a day to celebrate your small child’s growth, a perfect memory you’d want to keep to yourself using million moments app?

November 15th, 2012 Create a birthday card

Hi everyone, do you remember our actress dog, Ado? Her birthday is soon to come, so I’d like to make a birthday card for her with million moments.

First, import some birthday-like images to million moments. Then open your “ALL” album, select those photos imported, and change the date taken to her date of birth.

Adding a message to her would make the card look more loving.

OK, it’s all set! Happy birthday, Ado!

November, 12th, 2012 Creating a new album compiling my favorite photos

Hi, this is Gokaichi. Triggered by the great pictures which are submitted to our photo comp, I created a new album compiling my favorite photos.

Most of those pictures were taken on my way to the office. Recently I've been so busy that I couldn't even shoot a snap, but you know, whenever I start million moments and turn the pages, I get motivated to take pictures. See you!

November 8th, 2012 A chat with iPhone-ographers

I had an opportunity to talk with some iPhone-ographers (photographers who use iPhone as their camera) about million moments. They’ve given me very good feedbacks, and some suggestions when straight into my ToDo tray to be worked on for our future improvement.

By the way, speaking of feedbacks, were you aware that you can send us your feedbacks from the app, by going into the app’s setting menu? Of course, you can also share your thoughts with us using Twitter as well. Your feedbacks are always welcomed.

After the chat, we walked to a gallery where some of them held a small exhibition entitled “iPhone x Journey”. Many photographs taken on the road using iPhone were displayed there.

I was so happy to discover that they’ve displayed some good pages created by our million moments app in the gallery too, along with other great photos!

Hi everyone, did you enjoy Halloween? The western tradition is getting popular here in Japan recently too.

Well, if you had enjoyed the event, it would of course be nice to look back the photos you’ve taken by million moments album. Now that almost a week has passed, let’s recall our precious moments by turning the pages.

Here are some cute BOO’s and EEK’s:

How was your Halloween? Show us you or your family’s disguises on Twitter, at @millionmoments with a hashtag #millionmoments!

November, 1st, 2012 Zoo visit

Hi, this is Gokaichi. I went to a zoo at the end of September with my child. He was so happy to see the lions and the giraffes he only see in his picture books. He however was too scared to hold baby chicks or the hamsters on his hands at the small animals' cage. And I got so preoccupied by the cute little penguins that I took more penguin photos than my own son.

It's been almost a half year since I started using million moments. The number of pages of my children's album has grown along with their growth. When you want to take a quick look-back of such an album, you might want to do so by changing the setting of the album temporarily, by adjusting the "Book time span." Give it a try, if you've never done it before. See you! posted by gokaichi | Category: tips |  Previous article
