Troubleshooting

01. Downloading million moments didn't finish. What can I do?
Try waiting longer for the download to finish. Downloads can be slowed by the speed of your connection or by the available network bandwidth.
02. million moments couldn't be installed. What can I do?
Try increasing the free space on your smartphone's memory and attempting to install million moments again. Installation may not be possible when there isn't enough free space in your smartphone's memory.
03. million moments won't start.
Try closing other running applications and restarting million moments. million moments may be unable to start when other applications are using up too much of your smartphone's memory.
04. Why is an empty space shown in an album where a picture used to be? (Android version)

In million moments Android version, empty spaces may be shown when original pictures are deleted or moved on your smartphone. To remove the empty spaces, select "Auto-reorganize pictures" in Settings, or tap an empty space and select "Auto-reorganize pictures."

Note: When selecting "Auto-reorganize pictures" with an SD card removed, pictures on the SD card will be deleted from albums.

05. Why is an incorrect date displayed for an imported picture?

The display order is determined by the date in the Exif information (information attached to the picture that is usually created by the camera that took the picture), which may differ from the creation or modification date in the file properties. To change the date for an imported picture, tap the picture in an album, tap the Info icon at the bottom of the screen, and edit the date taken.

Typically, this information is automatically attached to the picture by the camera when the picture is taken. If the date information for a picture is incorrect, this usually means that the time and date setting of the camera was incorrect when the picture was taken.

06. Why are the pictures I imported not displayed?
Several things could cause imported pictures not to be displayed:

  • The album is set to display pictures from a particular day or week on each page, and there are too many pictures from that day or week.
Some pictures may not be displayed when you set a per-page time span for an album. To display all pictures, select "No time span" in the "Album time span" setting.

  • The picture is no longer on your device.
If you've deleted pictures from your device without deleting them from million moments, the application will display blank for the pictures it can no longer find.

  • You're browsing an album that doesn't contain the picture you're looking for.
Each album (other than the ALL album) corresponds to a label and displays only the pictures that have that label attached. To view all the pictures that have been imported to million moments, rather than just those with a particular label attached, go back to the bookshelf and browse the ALL album.
07. When I import my pictures, I see an error message "Turn Location Services on to get pictures." or "An unexpected error occurred." and cannot import pictures. What can I do? (iPhone version)

To import pictures to million moments of iPhone version, you must set "Location Services" to on.

iOS version 5 or earlier:
Go to "Settings" > "Location Services." Set "Location Services" and "million m." to ON, and try again.

iOS version 6 or later:
Go to "Settings" >"Privacy." Set "Location Services" to ON and select "Photos," and then set "million m." to ON, and try again.

Note:
It is a standard message iOS displays when an app imports pictures from Camera Roll. The location information related to your pictures is not used by the app, but it needs to be turned on in order to import the pictures.

08. The photos in my album turned into blank pictures. (Version 1.0.00 for iOS)
The photos will reappear by updating to the latest version. In order to recover the photos, please do not uninstall the old version before you update to the latest version.
09. Why, when I adjust pictures in an album, are my changes not saved when I reopen the album?

million moments randomly selects from a set of predesigned layouts, and sometimes your adjustment of pictures will be incompatible with a particular layout.

For example, because of the inherent differences between horizontal and vertical layouts, sometimes a picture you've adjusted for a portrait orientation will not work well in a layout where that picture has a landscape orientation.
If you adjust the pictures repeatedly in various layouts, you'll be able to achieve your intended arrangement for most of the layouts.

[For iPhone Version]
To ensure your changes are displayed, open the album, flick up on the screen, and turn off "Update the layout when the album is opened" on the Settings menu.
