| Sony Digital Network Applications, Inc. (SDNA) was founded in August 2000 by a group of software development experts from Sony's VAIO computer design division to establish an independent, specialized organization focused on software design, development and commercialization. Since then, SDNA has expanded into such new business frontiers as embedded software in consumer products and the design and development of network applications. In January 2005, SDNA absorbed application development engineers from Sony's VAIO computer design division, increasing the total number of engineers to nearly 300. This strategic move has made SDNA the largest center of software development within the Sony group. Now, with both the computer and consumer electronics markets within our sights, we are on the move for rapid growth. |
